We enjoyed our simple stay in a beautiful location. Our kids loved seeing the deer in the mornings and visiting the horses across the street. It served as a good home base for exploring the outdoors, including the national parks. (Note that Sequoia *National Park* is just under two hours by car.) For those with motion sickness, be prepared for the windy road up the mountain.
