About the property
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful getaway near Camp Nelson, walking distance to the Pierpoint Bar and Grill and general store! Set up high on the lot, this beautiful cabin is surrounded in tall pines with a wrap around deck where you are sure to relax and unwind, breathing in the crisp mountain air, bbqing, or gathering around the fire. Inside you'll find a main living space with a pull out couch, wood burning fire place, fully appointed kitchen and laundry room. Upstairs, two spacious bedrooms with comfy beds and beautiful forest views are the perfect place to lay your head after a long day of fishing, hiking, or exploring the National forest. Guest Access Guests have access to the entire cabin, a parking space for one (comfortably) possibly two vehicles, free WiFi, washer and dryer, and BBQ. Firewood is stocked but not guaranteed. There is a central heater in the cabin. Linens and towels are provided. The driveway is very steep and may be difficult to use in rainy or snowy weather. Wood is first come first served and not guaranteed. There is firewood for sale at the store a short distance away. Propane for the bbq is also not guaranteed, but we will reimburse you if you have to fill it. If you are coming in the winter months, snow chains for your tires may be required by CHP. Neighborhood Located in Pierpoint, just below Camp Nelson, this wonderful cabin is located in a friendly mountain neighborhood near the best bar and grill and general store. You'll love coming year after year to take advantage of the nearby fishing holes, trail, and opportunities for adventure. Things to know 1. Communication is key! All guests must download and use the Airbnb App for communication. You'll receive check-in and check-out information through the app. Check in after 4pm. Check out by 11am. Our office hours are between 8am-9pm, please communicate between those hours. 2. Honesty is the best Policy! Add all guests to the reservation. Maximum Occupancy is 8 total individuals. Pets are allowed. ALL animals require a one-time pet fee. 2 dogs max. 3. No parties! No smoking of any kind inside the home. Removal of smoke detectors is illegal. If you choose to smoke outside, dispose of your butts appropriately. Absolutely no parties or large, loud gatherings at this property. Loud music, excessive rowdiness, excessive drinking or smoking, etc. will result in a $1,000 party fine. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. 4. Be respectful! When using outdoor areas (deck, bbq, yard games, etc.) and beach essentials, please clean up after yourself so the next guest can enjoy it as well. If something is wrong, low, or out, please let us know so we can fix it. Never leave trash outside, it attracts birds and other animals that make a mess. 5. Have fun! Our goal is to host a vacation to remember. If you don't agree with our above rules, this is NOT the house for you, please find a home that better fits your needs and we'll all be happier! With the exception of things out of our control, we'll always do our best to make sure you have the best time! If you're planning to visit the National Park make sure to check the government website to stay up to date with potential closures. Extended stays require periodic mid-stay cleanings. The frequency, whether every two weeks or every three, depends on the duration of your booking. Please be ready to inform us of your preferred day of the week for scheduling these cleanings. The cabin was amazing, the location was just terrifying I’ve never driven on mountains like that before and was terrified but it was so worth it one we made it to the top of the mountain
